Minato Shiba Clinic Introduction to our specialized breast surgery out-patient service
Since September, 2017, we have offered specialized breast surgery out-patient service from 2:20 p.m. to 5:00 pm on second and fourth Saturdays.
● People with subjective symptoms such as a lump in their breasts
● People who wish a breast examination (self-funded treatment)
● Benign breast disease patient recommended for long-term observation
● Person who wishes hormone therapy following breast cancer treatment
● Person with an abnormality indicated by an examination
A female breast surgeon (Tokyo Saiseikai Central Hospital, Doctor Haruna Oikawa) performs the examination and ultrasound.
And if she determines that an advanced examination and treatment are necessary, she can make a prompt referral.
This service is completely reservation-based, so you will not have to wait very long and the examination is performed in a leisurely manner.
Reservations are accepted from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays.

1997: Graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Tsukuba.After working as a general surgeon in University of Tsukuba Hospital and others in Ibaraki Prefecture, in 2012, Dr. Oikawa joined Tokyo Saiseikai Central Hospital as a breast surgeon where she is currently employed.
